The OPEC Fund for International Development today launched a new, revised version of its Internet website. In addition to the familiar content carried over from its predecessor, the revamped site contains several new sections and is more user-friendly.
“The website was re-designed to refresh the web presence of the OPEC Fund,” said Director-General, Mr. Suleiman J. Al-Herbish. “We have expanded the scope of our operations quite dramatically in recent years, and it was felt necessary to reflect this evolution in the website, which is after all our main window to the outside world,” he added.
Visitors to the new site will find a wealth of information on the Fund, from fact files on member countries and partner countries, to details of projects, programs and other activities, as well as all the latest publications and press releases.
