OPEC Fund to install mySAP software with CSC Austria support

The OPEC Fund for International Development today signed an agreement with CSC Austria for the implementation of mySAP software system. The SAP solution will be used in the operational areas of accounting, procurement, inventory control, payroll and human resource management. The new solution replaces a number of outdated systems based on an individual design currently in place.

The scope of performance of the SAP software optimally meets the requirements of the OPEC Fund. The solution offers the following advantages: integrated system on a unified technological platform, process mapping, workflow options, portal technology and employee self-service. The Fund hopes to start using the new SAP solution later this year.

SAP is one of the leading international companies in enterprise software development. CSC Austria is a subsidiary of CSC (Computer Science Corporation), a leading global IT services and consulting company founded in 1959.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Manfred Prinz, Chief Executive Officer of CSC Austria, and by Mr. Suleiman J. Al-Herbish, Director-General of the OPEC Fund.
