OFID WELCOMES HIGH LEVEL DELEGATIONS
Avenues for future cooperation discussed

In continuation of efforts to maintain dialogue with its partner countries, the Director-General of the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID), Mr. Suleiman J. Al-Herbish, has met with high-level delegations from Guinea and Burkina Faso. The meetings provided an opportunity to take stock of cooperation to date and explore avenues for future collaboration. Mr. Al-Herbish emphasized OFID’s readiness to continue giving support to foster the sustainable development of these countries.

The Guinea delegation was headed by Prime Minister HE Lansana Kouyate, while the Burkina Faso delegation was represented by Prime Minister HE Tertius Zongo. The officials expressed appreciation for OFID’s unwavering support over the years and looked forward to enhancing the existing partnerships.

OFID works closely with all its partner countries in order to insure that its support reaches areas of priority importance to the concerned governments. Over the years, the institution has developed strong ties with over 120 countries in all developing regions of the world. These partnerships are built on foundations of solidarity, understanding and mutual respect.
