Purpose

To accomodate rising passenger traffic and modernize the facility

Activities

rehabilitation of existing terminal building and construction of a new facility; installation of electromechanical equipment; extension of runway and construction of a new parallel taxiway; replacement and refurbishment of equipment and lighting; procurement of specialized equipement for the terminal building and provision of training to staff on its operation; and consultancy services.
