Purpose

To help reduce rural poverty

Activities

development of irrigation schemes; construction of a dam at the Chouara River; establishment of micro-finance schemes; capacity building; and construction and/or rehabilitation of grain storage facilities, schools, animal vaccination parks and water supply systems, as well as other rural infrastructure.
