Banjul Airport Rehabilitation, Phase II (US$8 million)
Purpose
To continue works to expand and rehabilitation infrastructure to accommodate increased travel demands
Activities
  • rehabilitation and expansion of concrete taxi area;
  • construction of two new corridors that will connect to the runway and link to expanded taxi area;
  • construction of new fire and rescue station;
  • rehabilitation and expansion of passenger arrival and departure terminals;
  • rehabilitation of control tower;
  • installation of safety lighting and signals; and
  • consultancy services.

  • capacity building.
