To provide the population with cheaper, more reliable power supplies

  • construction of hydropower plant on the Golan Gol River as well as a diversion weir;
  • installation of three 106 MW hydropower generating units;
  • installation of a 132 kV transmission line;

To expand construct a polytechnic institute Punjab

  • procurement of laboratory equipment, furniture, textbooks and teaching materials; and
  • consultancy services.

Doubling of Track from Lodhran to Khanewal via Multan (US$10 million)

To expand a 121 km-long section of railway situated in the northeastern region of Punjab

  • installation of 14,000 tons of rails;
  • procurement of signaling devices and telecommunications equipment, as well as track machinery and related equipment; and
  • consultancy services.
