La Linea II (Centennial) Tunnel (US$30 million)
Purpose:
To construct a tunnel in order to reduce traffic levels on the Bogota - Buenaventura Corridor
Activities:
  • construction of a 8.8 km-long uni-directional tunnel, including necessary lighting, ventilation systems and other related works;
  • construction and paving of a dual carriageway from Calarcá and Cajamarca to the tunnel;
  • building of viaducts, concrete walls and embankments, drainage and other works;
  • supervisory services; and
  • implementation of environmental mitigation and remedial measures.

US$270 million

Bus Rapid Transport System (TransMilenio) (US$20 million)
Purpose:
To expand the TransMilenio system in Bogotá

  • construction of trunk roads totaling 32.3 km, bus stations, depots and other related infrastructure;
  • carrying out of environmental protection activities; and
  • implementation of a maintenance program.

US$416 million
