Péligre Hydroelectric Plant Rehabilitation Program (US$15 million)
Purpose:
To rehabilitate the Péligre Hydroelectric Plant to bring it to full working capacity
Activities:
  • rehabilitation of three 18-MW generators, including all related electro-mechnical components;
  • rehabilitation of the transmission system; and
  • engineering and administration.
Project cost:
US$40 million

Small Scale Schemes Irrigation Development, Phase II (US$8.04 million)
Purpose:
To increase yields and develop agricultural production systems in the North East and North West Regions
Activities:
  • rehabilitation of 2,200 ha of existing irrigated schemes;
  • installation of new schemes to cover an additional 800 ha;
  • provision of support to on- and off-farm micro-projects;
  • institutional strengthening and capacity building; and
  • establishment of a project coordination unit.

US$23.5 million
